I worked in a business where my job was to be Customer support on chat - The services they used were able to have the following features.
Chat Templates (canned responses) - for quick replies (must be able to set what that reply will be and what shortcut will be needed to type it out. example -H1 - would type - Hello, my name is xxxx, how can I be of service.
This allowed us to tailor greetings and also let us add greetings based on languages. so H1S could be that same greeting in Spanish. It also allowed us to have H2 with a different variation of Hello my name is etc...so that it sounded less robotic.
