Chat Emails Delayed: They Should Be Instant
Alex Read
Hi
I'm finding I get chat alert emails a little delayed. They should be instant as soon as someone is starting a chat and you're not online in the app, so you have time to actually respond to the customer before they leave the site!

Hi Alex. This is being worked on at the moment and it's status is in progress. Please see the post called "Instant Notification"
All best

We really should have push notifications enabled in our browser so even if you don't have convertfox open you can get alerts! I don't want to keep my browser open all day!

Hi ! I am experiencing a delay too... When a customer start to chat, I have a few seconds to answer, to do not lose it of course. But unfortunately, I get noticied on my mobile with a few minutes delay (between 2 and 20 minutes on an iPhone 6, iOS 10.3).
This is really enoying, as we all know that a visitor spent very little time on a website.
Moreover, the widget is also slow on my website. Even Google Chrome show "waiting for convertfox".
This latency is really bad for your image, and even if I really like your product and enthousiasm, it may make me think to go back to Tidio Chat, where I had absolutely not those kind of problem.

I wish there was an android version or at least a noise somewhere, as I am not even seeing notifications of chats

Hey Alkaye Media, push notifications are sent to your iOS app instantly. There shouldn't be any delay. Do you see a delay on your end?
On the other hand, email notifications are sent out to your inbox with a delay of 2 mins. This delay is to ensure all those individual messages that are sent in quick succession such as:
"Hi"
"Is anyone there?"
"I need help" etc.
don't trigger separate email notifications each. We wait out 2 mins and send all these three in one single notification.

Raghavender Rao Jitta: Thank you for the reply--HOWEVER--the problem with that set up is 1/ we use laptops and not mobile 2/ We use android mobile (not ios). Your platform should be solid for all those. and emails take approx 20 minutes to arrive....want to run a test with me? please contact me off line--

I've got the same issue. Android user and email notifications are arriving 15-20 minutes after a chat is initiated. Even though I've set to receive browser notifications, I don't think they are working at all. No chance of being able to respond to on-site visitors in that timeframe!
